Daddy is home! Eric spent the week touring the Virginia State Parks of the southwest and we missed him very much! We kept busy though! One night we had dinner with Aunt Darcy, Lexa and one of their friends, Daunetta. Riley surprised us all by being the brave girl and helping Lexa through the Chick-fil-a tunnels and slide. The girls had a blast and we were surprised at how clean the tunnels were.
We also went to Chuck-e-cheese with the Umsteads, had two play dates with neighborhood friends, 2 days of school, and Riley went to Ms. Julie's for her letter class. Riley has been learning "sight" words with Ms. Julie and prides herself in "reading" a book to mommy and daddy every night.

But most importantly, Riley had her 1st dance class and it went way better than expected!! In fact, it was great! Riley and Lexa loved their teacher, Ms. Tiffany (who looks about 12 and was fabulous with the kids). Riley followed everything Ms. Tiffany asked of her and there was NO crying involved at all. There was one sad face when the girls formed a circle and Riley didn't get to hold Lexa's hand but she got over it and had a great evening!

Kyle is just as happy as ever and now he is pulling up on EVERYTHING and fits the boy stereotype and never stops moving!

Enjoy the pix!!

Riley & Tracy planted flowers in the fall in this new flower bed (made by Eric). The flowers are starting to come up and Riley is so excited. We are taking pix weekly to watch their progress!
